No catch — the business model is fundamentally different. Werkspot takes 10-15 percent from provider on each completed job PLUS lead fees, because their model is marketplace-with-manual-matching. Thumbtack charges per quote sent whether you win the job or not (5-35 EUR per quote), so providers burn money on losing bids. AstraNL charges ONLY 1 percent of the task value, taken at the moment of Stripe payment, split 80/10/10 between operations, Future Economy Pool and Humanity Support Fund.
