I heard some painting drones / robots are available. What is currently certified for NL homes by the arbeidsinspectie?
As of Q1 2026: no fully autonomous painting drones are certified for unsupervised Dutch residential use. Baubot, Canvas, Okibo and similar are used but require a certified human operator on-site per arbeidsinspectie guidelines. Expect operator cost (38-55 EUR/h) + machine rental (280-600 EUR/day). Real autonomous certification expected late 2026 or 2027 after CE marking updates. Not worth it yet for single-family residences.
