For a renovation with construction costs of € 50 000 excluding VAT, Zaanstad charges about € 585 for the technical building activity under its own fee regulation.

Rule in the regulation

a. Bij bouwkosten tot € 900.000 geldt een percentage van 0,85% van deze bouwkosten, waarbij een minimum geldt van € 585,22; en b. indien de bouwkosten € 900.000 of meer bedragen, wordt het onder a van dit lid berekende bedrag verhoogd met van 0,70% van de bouwkosten boven € 900.000.
