SINTEF has selected Power to Hydrogen to supply a green hydrogen production unit for the PYROCO2 project in Norway. The installation will generate hydrogen from renewable electricity as part of an EU Green Deal initiative focused on carbon conversion processes.
The project links renewable power sources directly to industrial hydrogen demand, illustrating how electrolyser systems can serve as controllable loads within distribution networks. Such setups require coordinated operation between generation, storage, and end-use equipment, areas where automation platforms and remote monitoring already handle scheduling and safety functions in energy facilities.
