Kaluza and Hyundai Motor Group have announced a global partnership to advance EV smart charging and vehicle-to-grid technologies. The agreement covers development and deployment of systems that allow bidirectional energy flows between electric vehicles and the electricity network.
The partnership directly addresses coordination between vehicle batteries and grid operations. This intersects with existing work on distributed resources such as solar, heat pumps and stationary storage, where automated control systems already manage timing and power flows across multiple assets.
