Solinftec expands Solix fleet after 85% average chemical reduction
Solinftec operated more than 100 Solix robots across the US and Puerto Rico in 2026. The units covered over 55,000 acres and recorded an average 85% reduction in chemical use. The company is expanding autonomous refilling operations and plans to introduce three additional Solix models, including a larger diesel-powered version, in 2027.
The fleet’s scale demonstrates coordinated multi-unit operations that combine navigation, task allocation, and on-site refilling without continuous human oversight. The addition of both electric and diesel-powered units indicates that mixed-energy fleets will require standardized interfaces for scheduling, energy management, and maintenance routing.
